Outdoor Express takes you from the centres of Tampere and Jyväskylä by bus directly into nature and back
The Outdoor Express service is intended for both locals and tourists. The goal is to provide an easy opportunity for hiking for everyone.
Operating on weekends during the summer season, Outdoor Express offers connections from the centre of Tampere to the Seitseminen, Helvetinjärvi, and Isojärvi national parks. From the centre of Jyväskylä, you can quickly reach the Pyhä-Häkki, Southern Konnevesi, and Leivonmäki national parks. Once there, you’ll have a few hours to hike and enjoy nature. You can explore on your own or take advantage of the national parks’ diverse guide and activity services. After your brisk walk, you can enjoy the products from the parks’ café and restaurant services. If you wish, you can also pack a tent or book accommodation near your destination and return by bus the next day.
